STUDDED FEVER

Las tachas o tachuelas siempre han sido símbolos característicos de la cultura metalera desde que el vocalista de la banda de heavy metal Judas Priest, Rob Halford empezó a utilizarlas como parte de su vestimenta a la hora de presentarse en sus conciertos. En las ultimas temporadas estos pequeñas piezas de metal poco a poco han cobrado mas fuerza y como muchas sabemos, se han apoderado de las colecciones de invierno en este 2012 y, por supuesto, de muchos guardarropas dandole ese toque de rock glam que le aportan las tachas a la vestimenta. Las hemos visto en tejanos, chaquetas de cuero y de denim, en zapatos, bolsos, apliques en blusas y vestidos y hasta en tendencias para manicure. Sin embargo, esto me llevo a investigar sobre la "Ley de Poiret" (de la cual halle un articulo interesante relacionado con las tachas) que básicamente se define en esta frase: “Todo exceso en tema de moda es signo del final” ¿Simple y acertado verdad? ¿Sera este el destino de las tachas como tendencia?

In recent seasons these little pieces of metal have slowly gained more strength and as many know, have taken over the winter collections in this 2012 and of course in many wardrobes, giving a touch of glam rock that give the studs to clothing. We have seen them in jeans, leather jackets and denim, in shoes, bags, blouses and dresses appliqués and even manicure trends. However, this led me to investigate the "Poiret Law" (of which I found an interesting article related to the studs) that basically defined in this sentence: "All excess in fashionable subject is a sign of the end" Simple right and true? Will this be the fate of studs as a trend?
