PREPPY STYLE FOR MEN

El estilo "Preppy" tiene su origen en los años 50 cuando en los Estados Unidos se ofertaba un curso preparatorio para futuros estudiantes universitarios quienes al iniciar dicho curso recibieron el nombre de "prepp" por ser novatos.

Estos estudiantes desde ese entonces impusieron la moda "preppy" donde los protagonistas eran los jerseys y pantalones en colores pasteles y llamativos.

 A finales de la decada de los 60s, ya cuando en Estados Unidos este estilo empezo a caer en decadencia, un reconocido fotogrado japones Teruyoshi Hayashida realizo una coleccion de fotos de los diferentes looks preppy que pudo captar en un recorrido realizado por diferentes universidades americanas; siendo este el punto de partida para que el estilo preppy continuara con su racha en Japon.
